Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana forms Distribution of started 2020: Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has announced "Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahayata Yojana" with the objective of reviving the small traders, artisans and working-class businesses of the state. 
Under this scheme, loans up to Rs. 1 lakh at an annual interest of 2% will be provided. With the distribution of forms for these loans starting from today, there were long lines in many cities of the state to get loan forms from co-operative banks.

According to the details received in this regard, the benefit can be availed by applying from today till 31st August. The application can be made from 9,000 locations in the state, including about 1,000 district co-operative bank branches, 1,400 urban co-operative banks, and more than 7,000 credit societies. Loans will be given to people like laundresses, barbers, plumbers, electricians, small shopkeepers, rickshaw pullers.

The loan received under this scheme has no installment for the first 6 months. To get a loan under this scheme, Aadhaar card, rationing card, election card, last light bill, Xerox copy of bank passbook, proof of business, and letter of guarantee will be required. Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana has announced a self-sufficient Gujarat assistance of Rs 5,000 crore to rehabilitate small shopkeepers, individual professionals, barbers, tailors, plumbing workers, electricians, rackers or ferrymen from the state of lockdown. 

Under this scheme, Rs. Loans up to Rs 1 lakh will be provided by co-operative banks, urban co-operative banks, and credit societies for three years at just 2 percent interest. Six percent interest on such loans is to be borne by the Gujarat Government. Distribution of Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana forms has started from today. 1) Who will get the benefit? Small and middle-class traders, self-employed people like shopkeepers, hawkers, rickshaw pullers, plumbers, etc.
2) When will the form be received?
It will be available free of charge from the designated institutions from 21-5-2020.
3) Which institutions can give a loan?

District Cooperative Bank.  Urban Co-op Bank. Credit Co-op Societies.

4) Rules introduced by the government?

>> Must not be an employee of the Central Government / State Government / Local Government.
>> Don't have any bank employees.
>> Government / semi-government institutions should not have contract-based jobs.
>> People doing the same business as on 01-01-2020 can apply for the loan.

5) How to repay the loan?
The loan will be given for three years. The loan will be given at an interest rate of 8% per annum. Out of which 6% interest will be borne by the State Government and 2% at the interest rate. No installment will have to be paid till 6 months after the commencement of the loan. After 6 months 30 will have to be paid in equal installments.

6) Last date to apply?
Forms in this regard can be submitted to the form bank by 31-08-2020. All applications will be disposed of by 31-10-2020. The loan amount will be received by 15-11-2020.

The Gujarat government has announced an economic package of Rs 5,000 crore under the Atmanirbhar Yojana. Under this, small traders will get a loan of up to Rs one lakh through a bank. For this, banks have started issuing self-help scheme forms from banks from today.

Under the scheme, small shopkeepers, individual professionals, barbers, tailors, plumbing workers, electricians, hawkers, etc. will get a loan of up to Rs 1 lakh at 3% interest for three years to rehabilitate them from the financial crisis caused by the lockdown. 

The loan will be provided by Cooperative Banks, Urban Co-operative Banks, and Credit Societies. The interest on such loans is to be borne by the state government at six percent interest. The distribution of this form has started at more than 9000 branches across the state.
