20 lakh crore economic package: Special announcement made by the Finance Minister for farmers and laborers,
the Finance Minister emphasized on self-reliant India and gave the slogan of 'Buy Local Vocal'. With this, PM Narendra Modi announced an economic package of Rs 20 lakh crore. On Wednesday 13 May 2015,

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made some important announcements for SMSEs, small businesses, cottage industries and PF account holders. Today, Thursday, May 14, 2020, the Finance Minister has made some more important announcements. In which small farmers, migrant workers and urban poor have been declared.

Some special announcements made by the Finance Minister today

Farmers took loans of Rs 4 lakh crore, farmers were given 3 months concession on loans.
The interest subvention scheme was extended till May 31.
25 lakh new Kisan credit cards were issued.

NABARD has provided assistance of Rs 29,500 crore to rural banks.
Preparation to give the right to minimum wage to all workers. Thus a plan to eliminate regional inequality in the minimum wage.

We also plan to make annual health checks mandatory for all employees. Parliament is considering this. Guidelines will be introduced for women to work night shifts.

Assistance is being provided to laborers returning home. They will be given employment under MGNREGA. Benefiting 2.33 crore people. The minimum wage has already been increased from Rs 182 to Rs 202.

11000 crore has been provided to the urban poor. For the urban poor, state governments are allowed to use disaster funds to provide them with food and shelter. Money is sent from the center for this. Homeless people living in urban areas are getting three meals a day in a shelter home entirely with central government money.

One Nation One Ration Card

Ration Card National Portability i.e. One Nation One Ration Card will be implemented from 1st June. By August 2020, 67 crore beneficiaries from 23 states will be covered. All ration cards will be covered by March 2021. It may be mentioned that in this scheme, on one ration card, the ration card holder can take his share of ration in any corner of the country. There are more than 80 crore ration card holders in the country.

All migrant workers will get free food for 2 months.
For this one country will apply one ration card, ration card will run in every city.
Those who do not have ration card will also get 5 kg of food grains.
90 million workers will benefit for the next 2 months.
The urban poor will get a roof

The Modi government is planning to provide roofs to migrant and urban laborers.
A low-rent home will be found in the near future, and it will be brought under the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme.
3 types of lawns under Mudra scheme

Infant loan: Loan up to Rs. 50,000 is given.
  • Juvenile loans: Loans ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 5 lakh are given.
  • Loan loans: Loans ranging from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh are given.
  • Under the mudra scheme, those who pay mudra (infant) loans of Rs 50,000 or less are given a three-month exemption. After which the benefit of 2% subvention scheme i.e. discount in interest will be given for next 12 months. This will benefit 3 crore people to a total of Rs 1500 crore.

Some other important announcements

A special loan of Rs 10,000 will be given to 50 lakh street traders, for which the government will spend Rs 5,000 crore.

The deadline for the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme on housing loans for middle income groups with an annual income of Rs 6 lakh to Rs 18 lakh has been extended to March 2021. It was launched in May 2017.
